Week 6 Post 3 - Intentions and Inspirations

   My reaction to my learning is that I can say that creative people's inspiration, motivation, and creative intentions all stem from their personal life experiences. Kanye and Cudi have based their music on the desire to make their audience feel a way that they wish they had felt when they were going through hard times. Because no one was there for them, they strive to be the people who are there for there fans who are going through tough parts of their life. This makes so much sense to me because if you look at young people they tend to not be as creative due to not having as many life experiences as adults. If you do not have anything in your life driving you to create, you will not be creative.

   My one question regarding my learning is this; is it possible for people to be creative without many impactful life experiences? It always seems like artists have crazy or interesting lives. Can you be creative with nothing in your life giving you something to creatively express?
